Best Wishes for 2024

Best wishes for a Happy New Year to all our Baer alumni, friends and our many followers, near and far!

As you can see here on the homepage, the residency operations will be minimal for the summer of 2024. This is due to many factors, but mostly we will work on preparations for the next three residency seasons at Baer Art Center, in 2025, 2026 and 2027.

THE PLACE - A great success!

The first group exhibition hosted at Baer Art Center was truly a success! We were thrilled with the surprising amount of visitors from our local community and from all over the world who stopped by to view the beautiful exhibition created by the June 2022 resident artists. See here for more information on the six artists.

For a glimpse of the exhibition please visit our instagram account and look for the videos.

The 2024 Residency Season
Minimal residency operations

Dear prospective applicant.

The 2024 summer season at Baer Art Center will be minimal with only a handful of private residencies being offered. As a result, no applications will be accepted this spring.

It has been our rythm to reflect, renovate and rethink our operations every 4th year in order to keep the highest standard of the facilities, services and atmosphere at Baer. Due to the covid pandemic, this rythm was reset to 2020.

We do hope that you will keep the Baer residency in mind for the summer of 2025 when we have a full season and plan to offer two formal residency sessions (each lasting two weeks) along with two workshops. Application period for the 2025 summer season starts in January 2025. Applications from private groups will also be considered.

With warmth an best wishes for the new year.
